WooBots

Though we are now, lamentably, probably outside the acceptable age range to play with toys here at Coolector, that doesn’t mean to say that we can’t still appreciate them and given the fact our favourite cartoon during adolescence was Transformers, you’ll not be surprised to hear that these brilliant looking WooBots have well and truly garnered our attention.

Currently funding over on Kickstarter, WooBots are billed as a high-quality wood robot collection designed for action-packed fun and their clever design will leave you impressed with their transforming capabilities. Available in a number of different iterations including an Optimus Prime-esque lorry, a battleship, aircraft and an autobus, there’s plenty to choose from and you can check out a few more shots of WooBots in action below:

Each WooBot is between 15-18cm high when transformed and consists of around 20 wooden blocks that you manipulate from their vehicular form into their robot alter ego. Laser cut for impressive levels of precision, these great looking toys will definitely make for a welcome addition under the Christmas tree for the young and young at heart and there is still plenty of time to show support over on Kickstarter.
