We’re forever on the hunt for new apparel brands here at Coolector HQ and, it’s fair to say, we’re always typically drawn towards those with amazing illustration and an outdoor lifestyle design inspiration and that’s why we’ve fallen hook, line and sinker for the wares of Jetty, a surf inspired clothing brand operating out of Manahawkin in New Jersey.

Jetty Apparel began life as five friends on a snowboard mission with a shared love of surf, art, travel, skate, and music who wanted to create their own clothing line and, with just $200 a piece to put behind the project, they’ve come an awful long way from such humble beginnings and now boast one of the most impressive line ups of men’s apparel we’ve seen in a while here at The Coolector. Jetty Apparel are now the most recognisable surf and skate apparel brand on the East Coast and that’s a pretty impressive feat, truth be told.

Clothing Made The Right Way

The good news just keeps on coming with Jetty Apparel as not only do they have some of the coolest looking and illustratively awesome clothing (with the designs coming from the amazing selection of illustrators), they are also a Certified B Corporation, who like some other big names in the apparel industry like Patagonia and United By Blue, are leaders in a global community of people using business as a force for good and meeting the rigorous standards required. Essentially, this means they strive to deliver what is best for their communities, employees, and environment. The fact their range of apparel – from T-shirts to board shorts – is so great is the mere icing on the cake.

Jetty Apparel have a newly released fall/winter 17 collection which is positively chock full of top notch clothing including flannel shirts for when the weather begins to get chilly and an cracking collection of hoodies, long sleeve tees and trousers – all of which are crafted from the finest materials to deliver impeccable comfort and style. It is the fantastic illustrations on the apparel from Jetty that first caught our eye and if you’re the sort of man that loves a striking piece of illustration on your T-shirts and sweaters, you’re going to find plenty for your fall wardrobe here.

Just When You Thought It Couldn’t Get Better

We were already well and truly sold on the merits of Jetty Apparel and their superb line up of clothing but then we discovered something which sealed the deal and possibly made them our favourite clothing brand right now – namely, the fact that they’ve got their very own craft beer. Lamentably, Jetty Brewing Co is only currently available in New Jersey and North Carolina watering holes but plans are certainly afoot to expand this and if you love American Pale Ales, you’ll be a big fan of their delicious looking ale.

If you’ve been on the hunt for new clothing lines to fill your closet this autumn and winter, you’ll be hard pressed to find any with a more extensive selection of menswear than the guys at Jetty and we’re especially loving the quality illustrations that underpin the majority of their pieces. Stylish, affordable and made in the right way, there really is nothing not to like here.
