Triwa Smartwatch Concept

We’re yet to come across a smartwatch that has left has left us genuinely agog here at Coolector HQ but we may well have just come across the one that is turning that tide. Lamentably, however, it is merely a concept timepiece but the Triwa Smartwatch by Hungarian designer, Gábor Balogh, is based in reality and we here at The Coolector are hoping such timepieces become a reality sooner rather than later.

This Triwa Smartwatch from Gábor Balogh maintains the aesthetics of a conventional Triwa timepiece but adds the technological edge that I think its safe to say we all crave but have yet see come to fruition. It is on the back of concept designs like these from Balogh that ideas become reality and we’re definitely hoping the good chaps at Triwa are sitting up and taking notice of this spiffing looking design.

There are, of course, a myriad of technological hurdles to overcome to make this watch find its way onto the marketplace but the images below will showcase why, in the words of Picard, we here at The Coolector hope they “make it so”.

We’ve been left thoroughly astounded by this, quite frankly, awesome looking timepiece and though it isn’t yet something that we can have strapped to our wrist, we’re firm believers in technology here at The Coolector and hope it won’t be too long before we’re rocking timepieces as epic as this.
