AVI-8 is proud to present the Spitfire Chronograph, a limited-edition timepiece created in collaboration with Laguna’s Spitfire Legacy (LSL) to commemorate the famous 303 Squadron and support the LSL’s work to restore Spitfire P8331 to airworthy condition. If you’re serious about aviation and on the hunt for a new timepiece, this one will definitely fit the bill.
Only 450 pieces of the AVI-8 Spitfire Laguna Chronograph Watch will be made, each individually numbered, so make sure you move fast if you want to secure one for your wrist. Proceeds from the sale of each watch will go towards the LSL’s efforts to return Spitfire P8331 to the skies.
The Spitfire Chronograph is a spectacular timepiece that is sure to turn heads and at just £275 it’s exceptional value for money. It boasts a VK series Japanese meca-quartz chronograph movement and a legible twin-register dial layout housed in a flowing stainless steel case. Every detail has been carefully considered in this limited edition timepiece, which is inspired by the shape and design of Spitfire P8331 and the 303 Squadron.
The 303 Squadron was a Polish fighter squadron that fought in the Battle of Britain. They were the most successful squadron during the battle, shooting down over 180 enemy aircraft. Spitfire P8331 was one of the squadron’s aircraft, and it was last flown by Wing Commander Piotr Laguna.
This timepiece is a fitting tribute to the incredible contributions of the 18,000 Polish pilots and ground crew who courageously and skilfully protected Britain throughout WWII. It is also a reminder of the importance of preserving our history and honoring those who have served.
