Awful Nice

We like comedy films at Coolector HQ. We particularly enjoy those which lack the Hollywood gloss – we’re talking your Napoleon Dynamites and Bottle Rockets – so whenever we come across another low-budget, high-laugh quota comedy we will inevitably get rather excited. Well, we think that’s just what we have on our hands with the excellent looking comedy film, Awful Nice, which boasts a rather self-explanatory tag-line of “two estranged brothers, one strange trip” but don’t let that put you off – let the trailer above do the talking instead.

Awful Nice is written and directed by Todd Sklar and stars Christopher Meloni, Laura Ramsey and Henry Zebrowski and the unknown cast (or, at least, unknown to us) only serves to add to the comedic effect even more because, as funny as the likes of Sudekis, Ferrell and Galifianakis are, there’s often much to be said for putting unknowns in comedies because it ramps up the realism and believability somewhat.

Having considerably enjoy the trailer for Awful Nice, it’s fair to say that we here at The Coolector are eagerly awaiting its release later this year.

Awful Nice is set for a March 7, 2014 release in select cinemas.
