Let’s face it, the first thing you want to see in front of your face when you wake up in the morning is a steaming cup of coffee and the last thing you want to be doing is getting out of bed and making it. Well, this is a conundrum which may well have been solved by a talented chap by the name of Joshua Renouf and his rather awesome looking Barisieur Alarm Clock Coffee Brewer.
Renouf is a recent Product Design university graduate and the Barisieur is one of his first potentially commercial offerings (it’s still in development currently) but he’s well and truly hit the nail on the head in terms of finding a product that people will want and his top notch Barisieur Alarm Clock Coffee Brewer combines functionality with no shortage of form.
There is some very clever mechanics bubbling away under the service with this super stylish looking device which uses stainless steel ball-bearings to heat the coffee via induction heating and boasts a striking wood finish and accompanying coffee brewing devices. Feast your eyes on a few more shots of this spiffing device below:
If you love the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the morning (who doesn’t) and you’ve a problem with getting irate with your alarm clock currently, this will be a double win because it will be impossible to stay angry at a device that delivers such fantastic brews on a daily basis.
Renouf is currently putting the wheels in motion to make this concept idea a reality and anticipates a retail price of around £150-200 which is undeniably steep but when you consider it will be peddling coffee to you each morning at exactly the point you require it the most, it is difficult to argue against its obvious worth.
