Designed by Finnish industrial designer, Kama Jania, the BOLT Lightning Protective Shelter was created with the intention of increasing the safety of those who are caught in thunder and lightning storms where the chances of a lightning strike are increased. For example, if you are caught out in the open on a hiking trip during an intensive lightning storm, the BOLT Lightning Protective Shelter might just be your greatest ally.

Lightweight and extremely easy to erect, this impressive piece of design boasts components which aim to lessen the severity of a lightning strike and this one-person shelter provides respite from the elements in general. A clever piece of design which is still currently in its concept phase but given its usefulness and life-saving potential, it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see this excellent BOLT Lightning Protective Shelter from Kama Jania being a popular product amongst the camping fraternity if it does hit the shelves in 2016.
