Though we’re not exactly fans of the Transformers movies here at Coolector HQ, it’s hard not to be impressed with one vehicle in the film, namely the Bumblebee Camaro, and if you’re similarly inclined, you’re likely to be interested to hear that the movie’s director, Michael Bay, is putting up for auction his own Bumblebee Camaro SS which, safe to say, looks awesome.
If you did like the Transformers films or, indeed, have a love of muscle cars then you’ll want to take a nosey at the auction page of the Bumblebee Camaro SS owned by Michael Bay because it’s one of a kind and will add significantly to any luxury car collection.
This one of kind muscle car was heavily customised for its appearance in Transformers Age of Extinction and some of its most impressive features include a fuel-injected Corvette LS3 engine, 6-speed overdrive transmission, custom suspension, a 9-inch Ford rear end, a roll cage, Wilwood brakes, leather seats, touchscreen navigation stereo system, racing wheels, low-profile tires, and hideaway headlights and it is autographed by Michael Bay. Take a look at a few more shots below:
Whilst it certainly isn’t going to come cheap, this great lot offers up a chance to own a part of movie history alongside a genuinely top of the range machine and we’re massive fans of its super cool aesthetic here at Coolector HQ. It will be coming up for auction in Arizona this January so if you want to throw your hat into the ring, you know what you need to do.
