Farer Pembroke Field Watch

Field watches are, by definition, built for adventure and a life spent in the great outdoors but few embrace this ethos as proficiently as the Pembroke Field Watch from Farer. Part of the British watchmaker’s release of three new field watches, the Pembroke is stylish, robust and ready for any adventures you’ve got afoot in 2021 and beyond.

The Farer Pembroke Field Watch has a price tag of £875 which, given its undeniable quality and performance, is a fair price to pay. This great looking timepiece from one of our favourite watch brands here at Coolector HQ boasts a white sector dial alongside a Horween leather strap, NATO strap and integrated steel bracelet – so you can regularly change up the look and feel of this majestic looking timepiece.

Adventure-Ready Accessory

The Pembroke Field Watch from Farer is instantly recognisable courtesy of the matte white and navy blue sector dial – a layout defined by its embossed concentric circle that segments the dial. The visual impact of the watch also delivers a practical focus to the numerals and markers, which have been micro overprinted to build up a deep layer of pure white SLN Grade A Super-LumiNova – a feature which will provide a night-time light show on your wrist.

Sword style brushed steel hands are infilled in mint Super-LumiNova, giving the dial of the Farer Pembroke Field Watch (£875) a modern contrast. The airforce blue date pointer tip holds the Farer ‘A’ marque that highlights the date as it moves date by date around the outer ring, with month-end numbers in red to help remind you to reset the month with the quick date set function. A twist on a classic, that’s ready to wear no matter where you’re headed.

Purpose-built to withstand the harshest of conditions, the comfortably sized 38.5mm field case design is made from with 316 marine-grade stainless steel. This specialist industry-grade metal enhances the in-built benefits of regular stainless steel by increasing levels of chromium and molybdenum to provide a strengthened steel with an unbeatable corrosive resistance.

Quality Components

There are high quality components to be appreciated throughout the design of the Pembroke Field Watch from Farer. This includes the Swiss Made Sellita SW221-1 movement, Incabloc Novodiac shock-absorber, 38 hour power reserve and 20ATM water resistance. This is a timepiece made with the great outdoors in mind and it shines through in all its first class materials and components.

The Pembroke Field Watch is named after the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park on the Welsh coast – an exceptionally varied landscape of rugged cliffs, stunning sandy beaches and secret sea caves. Pembroke was designated as a National Park in 1952 and contains some of Britain’s most ancient and best preserved archaeological sites, such as the Neolithic stone monument of Pentre Ifan.
