If you’re serious about your footwear and want a pair of sneakers that are a cut above in the style stakes, you might just want to sit up and take notice of these rather dapper looking FEIT Biotrainers. Whilst they’re certainly not cheap, with a price tag of £545, these fantastic looking trainers from FEIT are a real stand out offering so far as quality is concern both in terms of the impeccable materials used and the comfort and style they provide.
These FEIT Biotrainers (£545) are brilliantly designed and offer an effortless cool to any outfit choices you make this summer and fall. They are available in two different colourways – namely, Black / Tan and White / Tan – and they both boast an awesome aesthetic that we’re loving here at Coolector HQ. They utilise all natural materials and evolves traditional running-inspired shoes with a translucent 100% natural latex outsole that is lightweight, cushioned and flexible.
Style & Comfort
Everywhere you look with these great FEIT Biotrainers, you’ll see unparalleled quality and this includes the natural latex which has been produced in partnership with Lactae Hevea who exclusively use the milk of the Hevea Brasiliensis (rubber tree). After a four-month “winterizing”, spiral incisions are made into the tree bark, which releases the rubber milk without harming the vegetation so you can feel good about wearing this footwear safe in the knowledge it hasn’t had a damaging effect.
The FEIT Biotrainers boast a seamless one-piece upper which has been crafted from a semi-cordovan leather and the supportive heel counter. This is a design feature which has been borrowed from men’s classic dress shoe styles and it is made of thick vegetable-tanned leather for a striking style and robust performance. These Biotrainers from FEIT are being released in extremely limited numbers with just 30 of each colour way being made available so make sure you move quickly if you want to get your hands on a pair.
It is the craftsmanship that goes into these FEIT Biotrainers which really sets them apart from the competition and it is clear that a real attention to detail goes into every pair and this translates into footwear that you’ll own for many years to come. All FEIT footwear is made from start to finish by one master craftsman. The one-piece upper is sewn by hand directly to the midsole. A cork footbed and a bamboo shank stabilizer are added, before cementing the leather outsole to the midsole using a natural, water-based glue. This obviously takes longer than mass produced footwear but the end result is a tangible sense of quality that is beyond compare.
Material Matters
Undeniably expensive, the footwear from FEIT is going to attract a certain style of man but there is simply no denying that the materials used in this cracking footwear (along with the master craftsmanship) warrants such a lofty price tag. The main material is that of cordovan leather, which is historically made from the buttocks section of a horse skin, has been used only for luxury dress shoes. FEIT shoes use the entire skin—hence the name “semi-cordovan”. The leather is tanned slowly, nourished with natural oils, and shaved.
If you’re after a cornerstone piece of footwear for your sneakers collection and fancy pushing the boat out a little, these FEIT Biotrainers could be the ideal candidate. Great design, unparalleled craftsmanship and comfort that is off the charts, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better looking pair of sneakers out there and we’re loving the vintage vibes that they positively exude here at Coolector HQ.
