The Ledger version, of course, is considerably more handy for things like mileage logs, to-do lists or any sort of handwritten accounting.

A lot more vibrant aesthetically than other notebooks, this Field Notes Brand Utility Notebook boasts Mohawk’s beautiful vibrant Via Vellum 80# “Safety Yellow” cover which, the DIY enthusiasts amongst you will probably notice, is very similar in colour to the traditional tape measure, which is another nod to the versatility and usefulness of this top class piece of EDC.

The real stand out feature with this latest offering from Field Notes Brand is the new flip-out ruler (inches on one side, centimetres on the other) that folds out from the back cover and provides the perfect tool for making those small measurements on the go.
