There is something about limited edition watches that we find ourselves drawn to here at Coolector HQ and that’s doubly the case when they’re as limited and eye-catching as this Hanhart PIONEER One Bronze Watch. With a mere 150 pieces being released, this one definitely won’t be around on Hanhart’s digital shelves for long so you’ll have to move mighty quick if you want to secure one for your wrist in 2021.
The PIONEER One Bronze Watch from Hanhart has a price tag of €1,190 and, given its limited-edition nature and bold, striking visuals, you’d have to say that represents excellent value for money. It complements the PIONEER series from Hanhart and takes its design inspiration from the legendary 417 – which was the first pilot chronograph of the German Armed Forces in the 1950s. The warm bronze case coupled with an olive green dial and a striking saddle leather strap provides the watch with an iconic design aesthetic.
Perfect Pilot Design
Purpose built for pilots, the PIONEER One Bronze Watch from Hanhart boasts a large crown which also features the “h” of the historic Hanhart logo, which is used for error-free control. The classic and for Hanhart typical fluted bezel with red marking is continuously rotatable without the click in both directions. These elements were originally developed for pilots and are still regularly seen in the pilot watches of today.
The Hanhart PIONEER One Bronze Watch (€1,190) will become unique with its own patina over time and the adventures you take it on. The finely crafted case is made out of warm CuSn8 bronze with the exception of the case back which is manufactured in sandblasted stainless steel for robust, uncompromising performance. By wearing the watch, an oxidation process is set in motion which changes the appearance of the case over time making it even more unique to you.
Acting as the beating heart of the PIONEER One Bronze is the ever-reliable SW200 movement from the renowned Swiss manufacturer Sellita. In addition to stop-seconds, it also provides a power reserve of up to 38 hours. The case back is made of matt sandblasted stainless steel and is where you’ll find the respective limited edition number XXX/150, the historical “h” and this strong material also protects against unwanted colour stains on the skin.
Limited Edition Luxury
The PIONEER One Bronze Watch from Hanhart has the historical logo in contrast to the series watch. On the wrist, the dark brown vintage-look saddle leather strap makes it an attractive timepiece which is extremely comfortable to wear. The strap is decorated with a triple bartack seam at the beginning and a V-seam at the tip of the strap. The good grip is ensured by the bronze PVD-coated pin buckle.
Priced at a thoroughly reasonable €1,190, this limited edition PIONEER One Bronze Watch is all set to fly off the shelves – as all good pilot watches should do. If you’ve liked what you’ve seen, it hits Hanhart’s website today so get your skates on and head on over to their site now to make sure you don’t miss out.
