There is something about the creations from the guys at bike workshop Hookie Co that always capture our imagination here at The Coolector and their latest offering, the Silver Ant Electric Bike, is certainly no exception. In fact, it might just be their most eye-catching creation to date. This extraordinary looking machine from the German bike workshop has been purpose built to take part in an event in Germany called Glemseck 101 after it announced that they would be introducing an electric class for its first-ever sprint races.
The stunning Hookie Co Silver Ant Electric Bike is not your average looking steed and will definitely turn heads aplenty when it takes part in Glemseck 101 in Germany. This mesmerising machine really does strike a chord from an aesthetic perspective but it is no slouch in the performance department either. As is always the case from Hookie Co, they design one-off parts for their builds with everything from frames to exhausts being crafted in house and tailored to the bikes they are built for.
GOING FOR GOLD
Spectacularly designed, the Silver Ant Electric Bike from Hookie Co is going to be the one that spectators gravitate towards at the Glemseck 101 event. This annual race and festival sees custom builders from all over the world come together in Leonberg, Germany to compete on one-off bikes in a myriad of different sprint races and chances are this offering from the guys at Hookie Co will leave its competitors in the dust.
This truly one of a kind CAKE Ösa+ Sprint Racer has been revealed by the German motorcycle experts Hookie Co and is based on Cake’s Ösa+ models – a ride we’ve featured on the pages of The Coolector previously and the perfect base for a bike as striking as this one. A chopped, bobbed and braced electric bike in the sprint racer style sounds like an alluring idea but, it’s fair to say, few would appreciate the amount of work building and maintaining such a machine requires but this is something that the team at Hookie Co always embraces.
Built with the workshop’s customary swoops and curves, Hookie Co. added their detailed and intricate craftsmanship to build this aggressive sprint racer from the ground up using their unparalleled skills in the field. They have managed to turn what would typically be an ultra-aggressive road bike into something markedly more focused and track-ready courtesy of some key and rather apparent modifications that are more than just aesthetic and there are rear sets, low position with low handlebars which are pushed down the fork. This one is going to be a real crowd pleaser at Glemseck 101.
