This updated version features a waterproof GORE-TEX liner, the renowned Danner Vibram 917 sole known for its sneaker-like feel, and a fully recraftable construction to ensure it lasts a lifetime.

Huckberry and Danner embarked on a journey to the past, specifically to the ’60s, to usher in a new era for the classic moc. After countless meetings, numerous samples, and years of development, the Mountain Moc 917 is finally ready for its debut. While it takes cues in colorway and silhouette from Danner’s original 1960s Canoe Moc, this modern iteration elevates the design with a waterproof GORE-TEX liner and the celebrated Danner Vibram 917 sole, renowned for its comfort akin to that of a sneaker.

Featuring a one-piece leather upper, the design effectively locks out debris and water, while its moc toe design pays homage to the original silhouette. It has been modernized with stitch down construction, offering a wider platform that enhances stability underfoot. A waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX liner ensures protection against rain, snow, and puddles, all while permitting sweat and moisture to escape for optimal comfort.

The inclusion of a removable Ortholite footbed, composed of three layers of open-cell polyurethane foam, guarantees maximum cushioning and support. Additionally, the lightweight Vibram® SPE midsole, crafted from rubberized EVA, significantly improves rebound, comfort, and support underfoot, making it a superior choice for enduring wear. The Vibram® 917 outsole, exclusively designed for Danner boots, incorporates their XS Trek® rubber, offering an optimal balance of durability and traction in wet conditions.
