Killzone Shadow Fall PS4

The Playstation 4 has, if you believe the words of technophiles the world over, made a bit of a mug of the Microsoft Xbox ONE already, some four months or so before the consoles are set to hit the market. This muggery is as a result of Playstation killing it at the recent E3 Expedition and, conversely, the Xbox ONE merely confused and underwhelmed in equal measure by all, or at least most, accounts.

One of the biggest draws at this year’s E3 was the stunning looking Killzone Shadow Fall 1st person shooter. Alumni of previous incarnations of Playstation will likely have played other Killzone games and I think most will agree that those ones flattered to deceive but Shadow Fall finally looks like the one to fulfil its potential if the stunning gameplay video above is anything to go by.

Set 30 years after the events of the previous Killzone trilogy, this version focuses on the conflict between two warring factions, the Vektans and the Helghast. You play the role of Lucan Kellan, a member of a specialist Military Intelligence unit known as Shadow Marshalls and it is up to you to help keep the uneasy alliance that exists between the two warring parties.
