Kindred Motorworks Trail Edition Bronco

For those of you that want to join the electric car revolution but don’t really favour the aesthetics of modern vehicles, the guys at Kindred Motorworks have got just the thing for you in the shape of their Trail Edition Bronco. The prototype for this build is currently undergoing warm and cold-weather testing and the Trail Edition upgrade is available for V8 Kindred Broncos at the time of order.

The Trail Edition Bronco from Kindred Motorworks first made its in-person debut in February at the ribbon-cutting event for Kindred Motorworks’ new Mare Island headquarters and manufacturing complex. All customers placing a pre-order for an internal-combustion Kindred Bronco, which is powered by the 5.0-litre Ford Coyote V8, can outfit it as a Trail Edition for $10,000 and this will take your road trip adventures to a whole new level of awesomeness.

It includes a front impact bumper with an Integrated Warn Zeon 10-S winch and a rear impact bumper with an integrated hitch and tire carrier to ensure that you’re ready for any eventuality out on the open road. Some of the other features include a 460-horsepower 3rd-gen 5.0L Ford Coyote V8, four-wheel disc brakes, 18-inch forged aluminium wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, full LED lighting, RECARO leather bucket seats with headrests and three-point safety belts, cupholders, a backup camera, power windows, high-fidelity audio with subwoofer and Bluetooth, and much more.

Ten standard colour options are available to choose from with matched wheels, interior and badging. The Kindred Bronco Trail Edition is finished in an effortlessly cool, Muted Gray, which includes a black leather interior, black roof, matching black fender flares, grille, and badging. Standard colour options with white roofs will include a tan leather interior, matching white fender flares, a grille, and chrome badging.
