We’re big fans of luxury watches here at Coolector HQ and, in our humble opinion, Montblanc make some of the finest that we’ve seen and they have left us impressed once again with their latest offering that is set to hit the shelves in 2015 which goes by the name of the Montblanc TimeWalker Urban Speed e-Strap which consists not only of one of their magnificent TimeWalker timepieces but also a mightily impressive looking e-Strap for the technology inclined.
The stand-out feature from Montblanc here is patently their innovate e-Strap which is interchangeable and which boasts an activity tracker, smart notifications, remote controls and Find-Me functions and plenty more sides which will expertly compliment the first class timepiece on your wrist. Using low energy, Bluetooth connectivity, the e-Strap provides for the first time, a highly sought after mechanical watch that has digital technology as part of its make up and we’re thoroughly impressed here at Coolector HQ. Check out a couple more shots below:
There are plenty of eye-catching features that will make this offering from Montblanc stand out from the crowd including the fact it monitors the wearer’s physical activity, read text messages, emails and get notifications of incoming calls. Montblanc are rightly considered amongst the finest purveyors of high end timepieces and this first foray into the world of technology orientated watches certainly looks as though it will be a fruitful one as there will be plenty of aficionados out there who have waited for one of the main players in the world of horology to throw their hat into the digital ring.
The strap itself is made from innovative Montblanc Extreme Leather for added durability and an unparalleled aesthetic appeal which provides an excellent balance between a sporty and elegant appearance. The device is set for release in the summer of 2015 and we here at Coolector HQ couldn’t be more excited.
