We’re unashamed watch fans here at Coolector HQ and we always remain on the lookout for new timepieces to pore over and we’ve come across a new brand currently sourcing funds on Kickstarter called Mouve Watches which have piqued our interest considerably. Needless to say we’ve got eyes on your Breitlings, Rolexes and IWC watches but our wallet seldom agrees with our assessment and choice of timepiece and more affordable options invariably come to the fore and Mouve are one that fall into this category.
Mouve are the work of continent spanning brothers, Anthony and Charles Weng, one who resides in LA and one in Hong Kong and they’ve combined their skills as an architect and a designer to create the mightily striking Mouve timepieces that you see before you. Mouve watches are automatic timepieces that are made from the best possible components which means it is powered by good old springs and gears with no battery in sight – a nod to old school watchmaking that we here at The Coolector certainly adore.
From perusing Mouve’s Kickstarter page, it is immediately apparent that they have put an awful lot of work into designing a top of the range watch at a price point that isn’t too restrictive and, for that, we here at The Coolector salute them and hope their great looking timepiece comes to fruition. Check out a few more shots of the awesome looking Mouve watches below:
As you can see, it’s a pretty top notch looking timepiece and will definitely sit nicely alongside other similarly priced watches currently on the market. With little over a month left on the Kickstarter project and still a way to go to reach their target, it’s time to get supporting Mouve and their spiffing looking watches.
