The first criticism that is often levelled at smart watches is that they don’t look like watches at all and, for most people, a balance between technology and aesthetic appeal is the thing we’re looking for from a smart watch and, finally, it looks like its about to be delivered in the form of the Nevo Smartwatch.
The work of French based, Nevo, this smart watch has certainly captured our attention here at Coolector HQ purely and simply because it doesn’t look like a smart watch at all. It is important to note straight off the bat, however, that it doesn’t boast many of the features that you would typically associate with a smart watch but has enough functionality to be highly useful and has sacrificed some technological features in favour of aesthetic appeal.
The Nevo Smartwatch has brilliantly minimalist design and combines activity tracking, phone notifications and highly precise Swiss timekeeping all into one. If you’re after a timepiece that is more watch that must have gadget accessory then the Nevo might just be the one for you because not only does it look like an actual timepiece but also has supplementary features that add to its usefulness still further.
Monitoring daily activity is one of the chief features of the Nevo Smartwatch so for those who want to keep track of how much motion they carry out on a daily basis, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for with the Nevo. You’ll never need to charge your Nevo in the same manner as you would other smartwatches on the market because it is run on dual watch batteries, with the first battery charging the Swiss movement for around five years and the second charging the activity tracker for around six months. Check out a video and a few more shots of the Nevo Smartwatch below:

Whilst the Nevo Smartwatch might not boast the capabilities of many of its counterparts from a technological standpoint, it’s got them beat on the aesthetic side of things in our opinion here at Coolector HQ. We’re majorly impressed with the minimalist design which has been coupled with an intuitive and attractive activity tracker that will help you keep on top of your fitness endeavours.
