Funding on Kickstarter now and available for the great price of £110 for the quartz release or £325 for the Swiss-made movement, these Objest Watches add a touch of class to any wrist. The contemporary design comes in two complementary monochrome palettes and boasts the always impressive ETA 2824-2 automatic in the Swiss-made version, which we’ll be focusing on here.

First-Class Quality

These Hach V automatic watches manage to keep the signature simple, soft pebble-like silhouette of the brand’s previous collections, and boast double-domed sapphire glass, a concave dial and an extremely striking, open caseback. The rounded sides and cambered surfaces make the 42mm case wear smaller to keep the minimalist aesthetic intact throughout.

The Objest Watches on Kickstarter (£325) are fitted with scratch-resistant sapphire glass for optimal clarity and protection. Hour markers at 3,6,9,12 sit below and surface and are polished, with small dots showing off the indices in between. Thin controlled lines are printed on the concave surface of the dial which deliver a graphical pattern, while still being functional. The hands come in a contrasting matte colour, with the seconds hand featuring Objest’s signature reverse teardrop design.

Detailing of the pattern on the caseback continues through onto the rotor of these majestic looking timepieces from Objest which come in a black or silver finish. The lugless design is fastened to the wrist with apple skin vegan leather, made from a by- product of the apple juicing process in Northern Italy – so, if you’re into your environmentalism, this is a watch you can feel good about wearing.
