DEVILISHLY DAPPER DESIGN

The DNA of Oswalds Mill Audio are the cinema speakers and electronics from the 1930s and this is a particular golden age of product design when triodes were the norm and amplifiers were cased in beautiful vertical racks. With this in mind, OMA went back to this configuration in the design of their latest and most powerful amplifier to date – the Special K. It has to be seen to be believed and boasts not just an astounding visual gravitas but also a compelling performance that sets it apart from the competition.

Brilliantly conceived and crafted, the Special K Amplifier from Oswalds Mill Audio has an integrated design like all the other OMA amplifiers, and requires no preamplifier. 8 new production KT88 tubes in pure Class A triode connected push pull design produce nearly 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Full dual mono construction with CCS on the 6J5/6BX7 input/driver stages, all transformers custom wound, amorphous core with silver OPT’s and internal wiring. In laymen’s terms, it’s an impressive bit of kit.
