Pixelwood

There have been some really great movies from the hills of Hollywood over the years and what better way to celebrate this awesomeness than with a spiffing array of GIFs that recreate some of the most iconic moments of said movies. Nothing, that’s what. So, you’ll join us in revelling in Slovakian illustrator Dusan Cezek’s uber-cool collection of animated movie GIFs that goes by the name of Pixelwood and, latterly, Pixelomics.

Capturing some of the best scenes from a myriad of our favourite movies here at Coolector HQ such as Fight Club and The Big Lebowski, there’s much to enjoy in Cezek’s awesome GIFs and you can check out a few of our favourites below:

These brilliant GIFs not only capture some of our favourite movies, the also hark back to the golden age of video games that were in existence during The Coolector’s pomp such as Sensible Soccer, Cannon Fodder and The Secret of Monkey Island. A superb co-mingling of two of our favourite things and a definite two thumbs up to Dusan Cezek for his mightily impressive skills.
