When it comes to top class watches, Sweden might not be the first country that pops into your mind with Switzerland invariably being the first port of call but this does a disservice to some of the exceptional timepieces that emerging from Scandinavia and there are few better brands that we’ve encountered here at Coolector HQ than that of Sjöö Sandström and their undeniably excellent series of watches that will likely appeal to a wide demographic due to their eye-catching designs and superb craftsmanship.
Despite the relevant infancy of the Sjöö Sandström brand of watches (they were founded in 1986 by Christer Sjöö and Mikael Sandström – a pair of horology loving engineers) they’ve wasted no time whatsoever in establishing a highly impressive collection of striking, versatile and highly attractive timepieces and we’re extremely impressed with both their functionality and the fact they have dared to beat their own trail in what is the highly competitive world of watch making.
Sjöö Sandström endeavour to create a bridge between tradition and technology with their timepieces and, in our humble opinion, they’ve accomplished this admirably and we’re sure you’ll find a watch to match your own taste requirements in their spiffing collection. Check out a few of our favourite Sjöö Sandström watches below:
As you can see, there is an impressive level of diversity with Sjöö Sandström watches and whether you’re after a classical style timepiece or something a good deal more rugged and hard-wearing, there will be a collection under their umbrella that fits the bill. If you’d previously discounted Stockholm as being a veritable hotbed of horological excellence then these timepieces from Sjöö Sandström will likely have changed your opinion and for anyone in the market for a stylish and fantastically crafted watch, you’ll find few better out there.
