We’ve been somewhat lax with our Star Wars loving of late here at Coolector HQ but we’re always keeping an eye out in the background and we’ve just stumbled across some more awesomeness pertaining to Darth Vader et al courtesy of these rather fantastical Star Wars Street Style Illustrations that imagine some of the key characters from the uber-popular franchise if they were to wear some of the more unusual street style clothing seen today as opposed to their iconic garb from the hit films.
The work of fashion magazine, NSS, this great series of illustrations does a great job of making the likes of Luke Skywalker, Imperial Storm Troopers and Chewbacca a good deal more contemporary and if you ever wondered what Vader looked like out of his cape and in some sort of Mexican poncho then you, sir, are in luck because that’s exactly what you’re about to get. Check out some shots of Star Wars characters looking faintly ridiculous below:
Inspired by labels like Adidas, Carhartt and KTZ, these aren’t the sorts of clothes that we’d typically associate ourselves with at Coolector HQ but throw a bit of Star Wars into the mix and we were inevitably sold. So, it’s always nice to know if the likes of Yoda and Hans Solo fall on hard times, they’ve always got a career in street fashion to consider.
