Hotels can be, lamentably, very much of a muchness and have little individuality to single them out but that’s not something that can be levelled at this amazing Starlight Room project. OK, so it’s not a hotel per se but it’s a fantastic, one-of-a-kind piece of accommodation that affords views that literally have to be seen to be believed.
The Starlight Room is situated a mile above sea level with stunning views of the surrounding Dolomite Mountains and, for those looking for a night under the stars in style, this surely has to be a chief contender.
Essentially a small wooden hut with a bed with a glass enclave surrounding it to maximise the amazing views, the Starlight Room might not be the roomiest of spaces but it is definitely one of the most aesthetically unsurpassed. Take a look at a few more shots below:
Whilst it’s not an overly cheap stay, costing around €300 a night, the Starlight Room will be an experience like no other and if you’re in the area around the Dolomites this year and want a one in a million stay then this would be our choice here at Coolector HQ. Snug, glorious vistas and fantastic solitude – all winning features in our eyes.
