There is a lot of superhero movies doing the rounds at the moment with Captain America and the Amazing Spiderman movies currently on show so it’s a good time for an incredibly talented illustrator to showcase his skills for TIME Magazine with his series of Superhero illustrations.
Mike Mitchell is the uber-talented fellow in question and we here at Coolector HQ have been left astounded by his amazing set of Superhero Illustrations which are presented in GIF format for a slight static effect which adds to their appeal still further. Most of your favourite superheroes will have been captured by Mitchell with the likes of Captain America, Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk and Spiderman all represented and if you’ve got a thing for superhero based art, you’ll not find many better illustrations to sate your appetite than these.
Operating out of Austin, Texas, Mike Mitchell has an incredibly impressive body of illustrative work and its little wonder that TIME Magazine came calling at his door and he’s definitely delivered with this cracking series of superhero illustrations. He has created these illustrations for the Mitchell x Marvel x Mondo art exhibition which is being held at the Mondo art gallery in Austin on the 25th April. Check out a few of our favourites below:
As you can see, Mitchell is patently an immeasurably talented chap and whilst we here at The Coolector will never be able to replicate his skills, we can revel in his glory and if you happen to be in Texas this April then you can see the artwork in person at the Mondo Gallery in Austin and, we dare say, they will look even more awesome in the flesh.
