If you’ve been a Boss Duck holdout until now, The Shop Shirt from Taylor Stitch ($134) will be the piece of apparel to change your mind. This brand new silhouette was designed in collaboration with Taylor Stitch’s pals at Stetson, and it’s a real powerhouse performer. Crafted to survive a full day plus overtime, but so striking and effortlessly cool you won’t want to take it off come quittin’ time.
It has been given a light stonewash which delivers its pleasing, well-worn aesthetic and broken-in feel right out of the box. Apart from that, this is the same tried-and-true hemp blend that you’ll be glad to have on hand when the going gets tough and will keep pace with any adventures you’ve got planned. Each one is cut from Taylor Stitch’s signature Boss Duck blend, and the Project Jacket in Olive Boss Duck ($188) has all the function and robustness of a hardware store chore coat, with none of the harsh by-products of conventionally grown cotton.
Crafted from a proprietary feel-good blend of hemp, recycled poly, organic cotton, and a splash of spandex, woven together, with warm organic cotton corduroy at the collar, cuffs, and inside pocket flaps, this Project Jacket offers first class comfort and style. The hemp gives the jacket resilience and structure, while the recycled polyester lightens things up and makes the overall jacket soft and sturdy. ($188)
