The Bike Shed A/W 19

We love typography and illustration inspired apparel here at Coolector HQ and when you through some motorcycle vibes into the mix as well then that’s our winter wardrobe sorted. That’s why we were waiting for the A/W 19 collection from The Bike Shed with bated breath and, needless to say, we’ve not been left disappointed.

The Bike Shed are a London based motorcycle showroom, studio, lifestyle and apparel brand and if you’re a fan of two wheel steeds, they need to be a brand that are well and truly on your radar. It is their apparel that really captured our attention here at Coolector HQ and their latest line up of releases is right up our street.

BSMC UTILITY VEST – £110

The BSMC Utility draws its design inspiration from classic workwear garments that we like to wear whilst out and about or hard at work in the workshop. Whether worn beneath or over a jacket, on the bike or off it, this BSMC Utility Vest (£110) has long been a staple of the rider’s wardrobe. They keep your core warm, which is key to keeping cold finger tips at bay, whilst providing an abundance of storage for all of the paraphernalia you don’t want bulking out your hip pockets.

The great looking BSMC Utility Vest is crafted from heavy duty 300gsm cotton and lined with the same in a contrasting colour. It boasts side entry zip chest pockets and slip waist pockets are supplemented by a further three inner pockets. Understated BSMC branded buttons and utility label see out the details. Available in black with khaki lining or tan with black. Size up if you plan on wearing predominantly over your jacket. (£110)

BSCM Utility Shirt – £80

Stylish and robust and perfect for the winter wardrobe, the The BSMC Utility Shirt (£80) can be worn anywhere but was designed to function perfectly when worn underneath your riding jacket. The deep left chest pocket is side entry for rapid, simple access through an unzipped jacket whilst the traditional deep right pocket is buttoned for security.

Both chest pockets have been reinforced for added robustness at the stress point where the opening meets the body of the shirt. The top shoulder seam is deliberately dropped forward to avoid sitting directly beneath jacket armour on the point of the shoulder. A button-down collar and adjustable cuff closure see out the functional details whilst the subtle BSMC branded buttons and utility label complete the look. Manufactured from hard wearing 260gsm 100% cotton twill. Available in asphalt or forest green. (£80)

BSMC Utility T-Shirt – £35

Crafted from 100% cotton for a more robust fit, the BSMC Utility T-Shirt (£35) is new for 2019. Manufactured from 200GSM 100% cotton, a slightly heavier weight than their regular T-shirts, the Utility-T features a left chest pocket with our woven BSMC badge, which is ideally suited for stashing small nuts and washers or a credit card. The Utility-T is made in asphalt, burgundy and forest green colourways so you’re sure to find one that fits in with your own sense of style this winter. (£35)

BSMC Club T-Shirt – £35

The Club T-shirt from BSMC (£35) has long been a staple of the Coolector HQ wardrobe, but it has now evolved to incorporate their bold new venture – namely, at the time of writing, work is well under way on Bike Shed’s second full time venue on the other side of the Atlantic in downtown Los Angeles.

The chest print on this tee proudly declares Bike Shed’s 2011 establishment date whilst the back piece celebrates our new, two city, two country, motorcycle club. The Club T-shirt is available in classic white on black and black on white. (£35)
