Topo Designs and James Brand are two of our favourite purveyors of EDC and accessories here at Coolector HQ so when they decided to join forces, we were understandably excited and they’ve not let us down with the Topo Designs x James Brand Knife Kit. This cracking bit of EDC will make a worthy addition to any outdoorsman’s line up of gear and offers a good deal of functionality to boot.
Topo Designs have been wanting to collaborate with The James Brand for a long time and when they finally put their heads together, the end result was inevitably awesome. Topo appreciate both their approach and their products – striking design combined with contemporary functionality. We worked together to deliver this simple, striking Topo Designs x James Brand Knife Kit which is designed for daily use. Limited quantities are available.
Adventure Ready Accessories
This first class collaboration from Topo Designs and James Brand features limited-edition versions of The James Brand Ellis Pocket Knife and Hardin Key Carabiner, along with a custom Topo Designs pouch. There is a really cool aesthetic to each of these pieces which is matched by just how useful they will be on a day to day basis for those with adventure in their blood who spend a lot of their time in the great outdoors.
The Topo Designs x James Brand Knife Kit is made up of three core pieces and we’re loving each one here at The Coolector. You can check out what you’ll be getting in this limited edition collaboration project below:
The Ellis Pocket Knife
Boasting a partially serrated Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade, a combination bottle opener and screwdriver and the James Brand’s nearly-patented All Things® scraper and pry, along with a bail loop for attaching to a carabiner, keys or a pack, this is one handy pocket tool. A staple of the The James Brand offering; the Ellis Pocket Knife / Tool is an absolute powerhouse and, in this limited-edition version, is available in Topo red G10.
The Hardin Carabiner
Purpose built for daily carry, the Hardin has a dual-compartment design that makes it simple to get on and off of a belt loop without losing your keys in the process. The Hardin is drop-forged out of aerospace-grade 6063 aluminium, which makes it both lightweight and robust. This version of the Hardin features a two-colour design in Topo’s signature red and black.
The Topo Designs Pouch
The Ellis slides effortlessly into the Topo pouch, and the Hardin can be used to lock it closed. The pouch is crafted out of 1000D nylon with a Horween Leather bottom, which makes it both incredibly hard-wearing and stylish. The USA-made pouch works great attached to a backpack, tucked inside a gear kit, pocket, or a glove box.
