There is something deeply appealing about truck ownership in our opinion here at Coolector HQ and, if you’re anything like us, you’ll find yourself gravitating towards vehicles with a touch of vintage class to them. With this in mind, you won’t be surprised to hear we’ve fallen pretty hard for this awesome looking 1973 Chevrolet K-10 from the guys at True North Collections.
True North Collections celebrate the art of adventure, classic craftsmanship, and a reconnection with exploration. This workshop was founded in 2019 by Shane Russeck, who is a wildlife photographer and collector of 4x4s. True North specializes in only the finest examples of classic and rare modern trucks along with bespoke accessories and limited edition apparel and it is this fantastic looking 1973 Chevrolet K-10 that has really caught our eye here at The Coolector.
Fine Example
The man behind True North Collections, Shane Russeck, picked this 1973 Chevrolet K-10 as it was unquestionably one of the nicest early square body examples he’d come across and, truth be told, we’re inclined to agree here at Coolector HQ. It comes with the original paperwork and all receipts from the build so its all been documented for your perusal if you’ve fallen for this eye-catching vehicle.
The 1973 Chevrolet K-10 from True North Collections was a single owner vehicle until 2018 when it underwent a full rotisserie restoration back to its original condition and looks like one of the coolest looking trucks we’ve seen in a while. This was a special order truck with tons of cool and rare options so it is something which is sure to appeal to any vintage truck aficionado out there.
There are plenty of stand out aesthetic features of this truck that help it stand out from the competition which includes Cheyenne Super trim, factory bucket seats, 350 V8P engine and power steering. A few extra additions for this build include Retro Sounds Radio, a Rough Country Lift Kit and various other neat little design features which help keep the authentic look and feel of this top notch 1973 Chevrolet.
Man of Many Talents
It’s not just amazing truck builds that Shane Russeck is synonymous with, he’s also a mighty talented photographer to boot. He goes from mountains to desert landscapes – inviting us into his world and to see these iconic creatures and vistas as never seen before. It is his trucks that have really captured our attention though and this 1973 Chevrolet K-10 is one of their best builds to date.
True North Collections only sell clean low mile trucks or perfectly restored models with understated, contemporary amenities while maintaining the integrity of the design language these trucks are best known for. What better way to get out and explore the breathtaking terrains of the United States than in your own truck. Ready for a road trip?
