Let’s face it, a lot of the wallpaper you see in interior design projects leaves a lot to be desired and for those of you who want to push the boat out a little with your wall coverings with this extraordinary collaborative design between UM Project and Flavor Paper that goes by the name of Conduct Wallpaper.
The UM Project x Flavor Paper Conduct Wallpaper is, in effect, an interactive wall covering product which expertly combines conductive wallpaper and functional devices to produce an eye-catching and highly unusual interior design touch that is sure to appeal to those designers who like their finish to stand out from the crowd.
Wonderful Walls
A great collaboration between New York based Flavor Paper, who make wallpapers far removed from what you’d find in your grandmother’s house, and UM Project, a Brooklyn based design studio, the Conduct Wallpaper has definitely caught our eye here at Coolector HQ with its innovative features and aesthetically superior visuals.
Boasting a combination of low tech-high touch integration of 2D and 3D elements in order to produce a highly unique and incredibly immersive experience, the UM Project x Flavor Paper Conduct Wallpaper is, lamentably, not something that is currently available to be purchased commercially but we hope that it will pop up as an installation in homes and offices because this is the sort of design that is simply too good to be ignored and deserves an audience.
We love seeing innovative design projects here at The Coolector and this corker from UM Project and Flavor Paper is right up there with the best of them so far as interior design is concerned. This amazing and supremely well conceived project delivers a sort of industrial look and feel that is ideally suited to today’s modern, understated interiors and the clever use of materials really delivers an impactful visual punch that is impossible to ignore.
Striking Design
With a design that likes strikingly similar to a tube or rail network, the UM Project x Flavor Paper Conduct Wallpaper is going to really resonate with those design enthusiasts with a love of clean lines and minimalist visuals. Exceptionally well made with a real attention to detail and a clever twist on a simple premise, it’s hard not to be won over by this first class collaboration from two great New York brands.
Out of this world, innovative design features abound with this top class collaboration project and if you’re an advocate of forward thinking in the worlds of interior design and industrial design then this is certainly going to be endeavour that is right up your street – as it definitely is ours here at Coolector HQ.
