Everything might not be black and white but, if these awesome looking UNDONE Popeye Monochrome Watches are anything to go by, perhaps they should be. Having covered their original, in colour Popeye release, we were excited to see them move into Monochrome for this one and the end result is a lesson in understated design that we’re loving.

The Monochrome Collection from UNDONE kicks off with their Popeye series of watches but keep your eyes peeled for other watches being given this superb looking black and white treatment. Designed to allow you to see more details in Black & White, the Popeye Mono Watch from UNDONE is an impressive timepiece. More of a “rediscovery” as opposed to a “reinvention”, the Popeye MONO is about taking something classic and stripping it down to its core: the bi-directional rotating bezel boasts a Zirconium Dioxide Ceramic insert. The 100m water resistance is ensured by the screw-down, glass caseback, allowing for professional marine activities.

With only 300 available, this will sell out fast and some of the finishing touches include Popeye’s name signed off on the serialised glass caseback and the j jetblack DLC (Diamond-like-carbon) coating, equipped with a 316L flat 3-link “Oyster” style stainless steel bracelet.
