We’ve covered a fair amount of electric motorbikes in our time here at The Coolector and we’re always got our eye out for new models to enjoy. That doesn’t mean to say we don’t keep an eye on brands we’ve covered in the past because they’re just as likely to release new awesomeness and so it has proven with the wonderfully retro Vintage Electric Tracker S Electric Bike. Infinitely cool and boasting a stellar performance, it’s easy to see why this is one of the workshop’s most popular to date.
The Vintage Electric Tracker S Electric Bike has certainly captured our imagination here at Coolector HQ and for anyone with a love of the cafe racer aesthetic, this is sure to resonate with you as well. Wonderfully well crafted from high end components, you can get your hands on one of these majestic looking steeds for a mighty reasonable $6995. Performance meets visual punch with this cracking contraption and we’d love to have one for all our own urban adventures.
Vintage Vibes
With a range of between 40-70 miles and a top speed between 20 and 36MPH (in race mode), this is a thoroughly impressive addition to the electric bike market and when you combine this with its compelling old-school cool aesthetics, it’s hard not to be won over by the Vintage Electric Tracker S Electric Bike. Capable of being fully charged in just four hours, this really is the ideal urban ride for those who want to turn heads on their commute and it is an upgrade on the original Tracker in a number of different and important ways.
The Vintage Electric Tracker S Electric Bike gets the added control and comfort of a suspension fork, and the range extension of a larger battery and you’ll be blown away by just how much fun this bike is to ride. One of the first things you’re likely to notice about its performance are the highly intuitive controls that it has. Power and control are accessible in a comfortable, intuitive interface and on-demand acceleration is provided via human power, or with a flick of the thumb throttle. Five power modes are available which ensures a ride that’s mild when you need it and wild when you want it.
Boasting a much larger battery than the previous Tracker, this new iteration from Vintage Electric has a much more compelling performance as a result. It has a massively powerful 1123 watt-hour lithium power unit which is unparalleled in the e-bike market. It can provide power for up to 75 miles on a full charge, while the potent rear hub motor will demolish previous lap times and chase new course records at speeds up to 36mph when being operated in Race Mode (which is for private property purposes only).
Balanced Design
The attention to detail that has gone into the Vintage Electric Tracker S Electric Bike is second to none and it has a mighty robust dual crown, inverted suspension fork and race-bred Schwalbe tires which will keep you planted through every twist and turn out on the open road. Its swooping hydroformed aluminium frame is optimised for performance and comfort, delivering a confidence inspiring ride every time you fire it up.
Brilliantly priced at under $7k, the Vintage Electric Tracker S has rightly garnered plenty of fans for its top class aesthetics and drastically enhanced performance from previous versions of the bike. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better looking electric bike on the market than this one and it definitely gets two thumbs up from us here at Coolector HQ.
